Clearwater Beach Hosts College Beach Day Party
Clearwater Beach Florida Its hard to believe New Years is just days away. This is the time of year when we have lots of college football fans hit Clearwater Beach to kickoff the party leading to the big Outback Bowl on New Years Day held in the Raymond James Stadium.
I thought this picture was perfect since I am a University Florida Gator! Everywhere you go on Clearwater Beach you see people ready to host our Outback Bowl guests.
Sunday promises to be a day of FREE fun things to do for everyone who comes. It is being held at the newly remodeled Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort at 400 Mandalay Ave on Clearwater Beach located next to Pier 60 home of the nightly sunset celebration.
Outback Bowl Beach Day Fun, Sun and Football Festivities
Calling all University of Tennessee and University of Wisconsin college football fans theyve planned a day of fun and friendly display of school spirit for you on Clearwater Beach.
The events are taking place from 11am to 4pm and the weather is set to be 76 degrees and sunny perfect Clearwater Beach weather.
Outback Bowl Beach Day will include:
- Performances by Wisconsin band and cheerleaders.
- Performances by Tennessee band and cheerleaders;
- Tennessee and Wisconsin players arrive as part of the celebration.
- Enjoy Skydivers landing at the party.
- Beach Bowl Party will include also official introductions and a trivia game.
- Dont miss the Tug of war that will pit Wisconsins cheerleaders against the Tennessees cheerleaders.
- And a Coopie eating contest ( I gotta admit I dont know what a coopie is anyone know?).
