I was at our Clearwater Beach real estate office today on 1 block down the street on Baymont Street when I was reminded that “this is Stone Crab weekend” on Clearwater Beach. Yum, Yum!
Each year for one weekend in October there are no worries – we all like getting a little crabby – Stone Crabby that is. Frenchy’s is home to the popular Stone Crab Weekends and you can see people are ready to get theirs. They have a little spot, Original Cafe , that you can pop into off Baymont Street and also their largest and I believe most popular, Rockaway Grill , right on the sugar white sand for Clearwater Beach – and shares a parking lot with the Palm Pavilion. They are ready for you to get crabby with them.
This year Stone Crab weekend also falls on the Clearwater Jazz Holiday and the Susan G Komen 3 Day Walk begins at Sand Key park which kicked off at Sand Key Park this morning. This is a great time of year to call Clearwater Beach home. If you are lucky you can park on Baymont Street off of Mandalay Ave – there is one hour parking there.
